Dr Olga Barradas

Olga Barradas is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow interested in the field of bilingualism, community languages and academic achievement, code-switching and identity. Her ethnographic research work, combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies, has focussed on Portuguese-speaking children in London

Olga is a member of the Community Languages Research Group, convened by Charmian Kenner and has a long experience of working as a Portuguese community language teacher in the UK.
