Chief Priest: SivaSri Kailai Naganathasivam Kurukal

The Chief Priest hails from a family of priests from Manalmedu, in Tamil Nadu, India. After completing his early education and priesthood training in India at the prestigious Tharmapura Atheenam. He developed his knowledge further through further training and working in different Temples all over India and in many other countries too such as Singapore and Malaysia.

He then joined the London Sri Murugan Temple in 1987 and since then has been a part of the Temple’s development at every stage. He is also an important figure in the community, providing many services to the local Tamil Hindu communities across London and all over the UK. He also maintains an international presence, being invited to Temple openings across the world where he represents the London Sri Murugan Temple.
